Commercial to Residential Conversions / Adaptations

At C&R Property & Construction Ltd we are specialists in conversion projects in particular commercial to residential/change of use conversions. There are many different aspects to be considered when converting a property/unit to new residential spaces including being compliant with current building codes and also being compliant with local County regulations. We can assist and advise in all of these aspects to ensure your project/investment is fully compliant.

A number of factors will also need to be taken into consideration for fire safety following the FFPC (Florida Fire Prevention Code) guidelines. Our project management service covers all of the above.

Our commercial to residential conversion service includes: An initial consultation with our client, taking into consideration any specific needs such as permits, building codes and fire prevention codes. Most of our conversions have required full renovation including damp work, rewiring, full new heating and/or air conditioning, roof repairs, additions, additional bathrooms & WC facilities, structural alterations, framing and partitions to create new bedrooms, alterations to overall layout of floor plan, new windows, insertions of new frames for fire doors with coded digi locks, new kitchens, new bathrooms, tiling, flooring (carpets or vinyl), painting and decoration, landscaping and finishing touches to include installation of mirrors, shelving, blinds and doorstops etc.

All materials, labour and co-ordination of trades is managed in-house by C&R Construction and Remodeling LLC, giving our clients peace of mind that their project is being managed accordingly, which can be fully hands off if that is their preference.
